Jax

Water Pipe

As legalization comes to more cities, fellow Pratt senior Troy Reinert and I collaborated to design and create a smoking water pipe for the modern age. A piece that could proudly or discreetly sit in your home to act both functionally and ascetically. The three legged tripod base creates many places for holding and passing. As well as adds stability on more terrains thens the average piece. The ultimate goal was to make our most complicated slip casted mould yet with this large four part construction, while designing an non-intimating, elegant smoking device.

Am

Creamer Pitcher

Amy, created for my mother, is a simple, elegant pitcher that is perfect for creamers to accompany your coffee or tea. I was able to explore skills like handle placement and using multiple glazes for visual language in this project. As well as, most importantly, practice my mould making and slip casting skills.
